Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time to mitigate threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure code development and system architecture.
- Prepare and present security reports and compliance documentation to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis.
