Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) feeds and analyze alerts from SIEM tools.
- Perform real-time threat analysis, incident response, and remediation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patch cycles.
- Enforce organizational security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS).
- Document security incidents and produce detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to resolve vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network administration.
- Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco) and VPN technologies.
- Ability to identify suspicious activity and escalate incidents effectively.
- Valid driver's license (for occasional site visits).
