Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident investigations and coordinate breach response protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening and compliance (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Lead phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat detection
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
