Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability, security, and speed.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and service tickets promptly and efficiently.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and changes to ensure compliance and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement new network protocols and security policies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure hardware and software are up to date.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in network administration and technical support.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, and VLANs.
- Proficiency with network management tools and diagnostic software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
