In this pivotal role, you will act as the first line of defense against cyber threats, utilizing cutting-edge technology to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. You will work closely with our engineering and compliance teams to ensure our organizational posture meets industry standards like NIST and ISO 27001.
Responsibilities
- Continuous Monitoring: Analyze security alerts and SIEM data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Penetration Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and red team exercises to stress-test our network defenses.
- Compliance Management: Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest cyber threat landscapes and emerging attack vectors to proactively harden our systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC, GRC, or Network Security role.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
