Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures in compliance with NIST and industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture and infrastructure.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
