Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms 24/7
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during weekend shifts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging threats and attack vectors
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC or incident response focus
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
- Strong analytical skills and threat intelligence knowledge
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Experience with network security protocols and firewalls
- Valid driver's license for occasional Philadelphia office visits
