Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Perform daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Manage and configure SIEM solutions, including Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices into software development and network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis.
