Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid mitigation protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Provide security awareness training to employees across all departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours for incident response
