Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and investigate security incidents
- Conduct forensic analysis of network intrusions and malware outbreaks
- Develop and execute threat-hunting strategies using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Coordinate incident response activities across IT, legal, and executive teams
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Implement vulnerability management processes using Nessus/Nexpose
- Collaborate on cloud security projects for AWS/Azure environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC analyst experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Incident response certification (GIAC GCFA/GCIH preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 SOC environment
