Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents and anomalies to identify root causes.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses.
- Respond to and remediate security breaches or cyberattacks according to incident response protocols.
- Enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Document security findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with security tools including FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to management.
