Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems to identify potential threats and incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen system defenses.
- Respond to security breaches and incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network architecture and cloud environments.
- Conduct security awareness training and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence, incident response, and forensic analysis.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
