Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, QRadar, and AlienVault SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response procedures for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure NIST and ISO 27001 compliance
- Research emerging threats and recommend defensive countermeasures
- Manage security tool integrations and optimize detection capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations center (SOC) experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with threat hunting and forensic analysis techniques
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
