Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage firewall configurations and intrusion detection systems to ensure network integrity.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate with IT teams for remediation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, or SIEM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
