Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Analyze network traffic and logs to investigate security incidents
- Create comprehensive security documentation and reports for stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security protocols
- Strong knowledge of network security architecture and encryption
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation
