Core Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before attackers do.
- Enforce strict security policies and ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry best practices to continuously improve our defense posture.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a dedicated professional with the following background:
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with log analysis tools and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
