Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct 24/7 security operations center (SOC) support and active threat hunting.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Manage and configure firewall policies and network security devices (Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration testing activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong self-discipline.
