Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud environments
- Perform security audits and compliance checks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Document security incidents and create remediation reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on security infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, incident response, or security analysis)
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
