Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation actions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security events and maintain compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
- Participate in incident response tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass background check
