Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing simulations.
- Manage and configure firewall and intrusion detection systems.
- Document security incidents and prepare incident reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in the deployment of security patches and system updates.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer networks (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+) during training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver's license is a plus for occasional site visits.
