Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify and investigate potential security anomalies or threats.
- Assist in the implementation of security patches, updates, and firewall configurations.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in the IT infrastructure.
- Participate in incident response drills and help document security events for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to analyze security alerts and determine appropriate remediation actions.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Maintain and update security documentation and user access logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
