Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight hours
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and cyber threats
- Implement security protocols and vulnerability patches in real-time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during emergency response scenarios
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and threat intelligence summaries
- Perform proactive threat hunting using advanced security tools
- Maintain 24/7 compliance with NIST and industry security standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations background
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat actors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Experience with incident response (IR) playbooks and forensic tools
- Valid U.S. security clearance preferred
