Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events via SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic) during weekend shifts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management on critical systems to prevent breaches.
- Respond to and contain security incidents with minimal downtime and maximum precision.
- Review and audit firewall rules, VPN access, and network configurations.
- Document incident reports and create playbooks for automated responses.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to ensure seamless handoffs during shift transitions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in SOC operations, network security, or threat analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI models, and common network protocols.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
