Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 10AM-6PM)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Generate and analyze threat intelligence reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response
- Document security procedures and compliance documentation
- Maintain SIEM platforms (Splunk/Syslog) and EDR solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst roles
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Experience with threat hunting and incident response
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
