Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM dashboards 24/7 to detect and respond to potential cyber threats and anomalies in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analysis, and recommend remediation strategies to prevent future breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture and software applications.
- Implement and enforce robust security policies, access controls, and firewalls to safeguard sensitive information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees to foster a security-first mindset across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or a similar role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or LogRhythm) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security fundamentals.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders effectively.
