Responsibilities
- <li>Monitor security alerts and events 24/7 via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.</li>
- <li>Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses in our systems.</li>
- <li>Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and root cause analysis.</li>
- <li>Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).</li>
- <li>Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).</li>
- <li>Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.</li>
Qualifications
- <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li>
- <li>3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.</li>
- <li>Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.</li>
- <li>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching.</li>
- <li>Proficiency with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation and incident response.</li>
- <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li>
- <li>Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check and drug screen.</li>
