Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm) to detect and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Implement and manage advanced security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop robust remediation strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and corporate security policies.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a cybersecurity or network administration role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM platforms and endpoint detection tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
