Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on security posture and threat analysis to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and EDR solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
