SecureTech Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security team in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activities using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to mitigate and recover from cyber attacks.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Perform regular security audits and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network infrastructure and applications.
- Train employees on security best practices and awareness programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with security tools and technologies including SIEM, EDR, and DLP solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
