Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM platforms (Splunk, FireEye, etc.).
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and incidents with minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust security controls.
- Generate detailed incident reports and security audits for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and cyber trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity analysis or SOC operations.
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC preferred.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall configuration).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
