Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and breaches in real-time.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement robust security controls.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed audit trails.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in SOC, Security Operations, or Incident Response.
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and threat hunting.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and common attack vectors.
- CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH certification is highly preferred.
