Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security alerts and anomalies
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Lead incident response investigations for malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security
- Hands-on incident response experience with IR frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical alerts
