As an entry-level member of our SOC (Security Operations Center), you will work alongside senior analysts to protect our infrastructure from evolving threats. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events on the SIEM platform for potential threats.
- Perform log analysis and correlation to identify suspicious activities.
- Assist in the identification and remediation of system vulnerabilities.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate playbooks.
- Conduct basic network reconnaissance and vulnerability scanning.
- Participate in penetration testing exercises and red team operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ or Network+ (or currently pursuing).
- Strong understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
- Relevant internship experience in IT or Security is a plus.
