Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with IT and legal teams to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform threat hunting exercises to proactively uncover hidden threats within the network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and CIS Controls.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and forensics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
