Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for financial services clients
- Develop zero-trust architecture solutions for hybrid cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers through security code reviews and architecture sessions
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certified CISSP or OSCP with active SANS GIAC credentials
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network segmentation
- Experience with threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong Python/Go scripting for automation tasks
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
