Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations including malware analysis and forensic reporting
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat hunting
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize complex security incidents
