Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network infrastructure hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Respond to service tickets and resolve network connectivity issues for clients in a timely manner.
- Assist in the physical cabling and termination of network drops (Cat6 cabling, fiber optics).
- Document network configurations and changes accurately in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new software and security patches.
- Conduct on-site site surveys and network assessments for potential clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of how the internet works.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (for on-site client visits).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain industry-recognized IT certifications through our training program.
