Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor security systems and SIEM tools to identify, investigate, and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the incident response process, including containment, eradication, and recovery, to minimize system downtime and data loss.
- Security Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all security protocols align with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce information security policies and procedures across the organization to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing security landscapes and demonstrate flexibility in work hours when required for critical incident response.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
