Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Systems: Track and analyze security alerts and logs from SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Incident Response Support: Assist senior analysts in investigating and responding to security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Vulnerability Management: Participate in the scanning, identification, and remediation of system vulnerabilities to maintain a secure network environment.
- Compliance Reporting: Help maintain documentation related to security policies and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Network Monitoring: Perform routine checks on network traffic to detect anomalies and unauthorized access attempts.
- User Support: Educate team members on basic cybersecurity best practices and assist in troubleshooting security-related issues.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is a plus.
- No Experience Required: Recent graduates or individuals with little to no professional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and internet protocols.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and security reports.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
