Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and investigate potential threats
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response reports
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and patch management tasks
- Participate in security awareness campaigns and training sessions
- Collaborate with senior analysts on threat intelligence analysis
- Perform routine security audits and compliance checks
- Support implementation of security controls and policies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
