Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams to minimize downtime.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, HIPAA).
- Document security events and maintain accurate logs for audit purposes.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid US Work Authorization.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
