Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Analyze log data from SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, ELK) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Implement and maintain security patches and configurations for firewalls and endpoints.
- Assist in forensic analysis of security breaches and prepare incident reports.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network defense.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with incident response methodologies and playbook execution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail.
