Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Document security incidents, root causes, and remediation steps in the security log.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development and deployment.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network security, SOC operations, or threat analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be a US Citizen or hold valid work authorization.
