Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks, incident reports)
- Lead incident response investigations for malware, phishing, and APT attacks
- Collaborate with network and cloud teams to implement security controls
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support (1 week/month)
- Stay current on emerging threats (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST frameworks)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/IR environments
- Strong proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows/Linux systems, and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure during security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
