We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our elite engineering team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cloud transformation, managing infrastructure on major cloud providers and ensuring seamless deployment pipelines for our global clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve deployment frequency.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize cloud resource costs.
- Enforce security protocols, including identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, data scientists, and security experts.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide technical guidance on cloud migration strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Linux administration and database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
