Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering all aspects of the application.
- Perform manual and automated testing (UI, API, and Functional) to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium or Cypress to reduce regression testing time.
- Conduct thorough analysis of root causes for bugs to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor application performance and ensure scalability under high load conditions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in Quality Assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and validation.
- Expertise in Automation Testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and user experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder reporting.
