Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to minimize downtime and data loss during security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into software development and network infrastructure.
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce human error and phishing risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear technical reports.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
