Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches or cyber attacks
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations centers (SOC)
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and identity management
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
