Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks and applications
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging cyber threats
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
