Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and implement remediation actions
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulations
- Analyze threat intelligence and proactively identify emerging risks to organizational assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
